Oppose the escalation of the war in Iraq


Call on President Bush to shift greater responsibility to the Iraqis for their security and transition the principal mission of our forces from combat training, logistics , force protection, and counter terrorism operations.

Urge President Bush to begin the phased redeployment of our forces in the next four to six months.

Call for the President to implement an aggressive diplomatic strategy, both within the region and beyond, to achieve a sustainable political settlement.
