Bartlett: Bush's initiative "requires US support," according to CNN
Bush will propose an "Iraqi initiative" that requires U.S. support, Dan Bartlett, counselor to the president, said Wednesday.

What the hell does that mean? That if tonight's speech doesn't shift the polls to Bush's favor, they'll drop it? I don't think so. It sounds like a threat more than a promise. :wtf:

1. No, they're framing it this way...
It's an "Iraqi Plan," and 20,000 of our soldiers are going to "help."

Complete and utter bullshit.

2. And if we don't support it then it's our fault there is no "victory"

They'll also blame the Iraqis, the anti-war movement, the Democratic Party...as well as the troops.

It will be anyone and everyone BUT Bush and his gaggle of fellow war criminals.

6. Bad example. Our faith SAVED Tinkerbelle. It won't save Iraq.

9. This is not the place for a discussion of the willing suspension of disbelief.
I'm not the one who brought Tinkerbelle into this.

5. Because If Dems Don't Go Along With It...
They were the reason we lost the war in Iraq.

This is EXACTLY how they're going to SPIN it folks. If the Dems don't agree to give him this 500th chance at success, then they and THEY ALONE will be the cause for the catastroFuck in Iraq.

They'll spend the next 2 years saying how things could have been different, if only the Dems had gone along with this particular plan.

7. Sociopaths always blame their crimes on others. What is new?
Dems just have to ignore the repug manipulations
and do the right thing. Be honest, tell the truth,
and do what is right for the US and the world.
Then let the chips fall where they may.

It is called being a statesman, not a politician.
