..."Why not raise the Minimum wage to $20 $50?..."

SURPLUS for the next prez. The MSM loved Clinton so, they didn't report it :sarcasm:

4. "because that's an unreasonable amount"
This kind of thing drives me crazy. Saying minimum wage should be X doesn't mean anyone thinks that minimum wage should be 2X or 5X. Duh.

8. Well put
I hadn't thought of that exact argument. I always reply, "So, if lower taxes are good, why not lower them to 0?" Some people will agree to that, but not even most Repugs think we should pay 0 in taxes. We need something to buy weapons.

7. By that logic, why not send every able American to Iraq?
Stupid republicans, excessive exaggeration isn't undetectable.

10. Why only escalate the war by 20,000 troops?
Why not bring back the draft and draft every able-bodied person up to the age of 42 without exception and send them to Iraq?
:sarcasm:

11. by that same token, I read an article earlier about the cost to buy a house
these days and the median price is about 248,000, so if some one wants to buy a decent house they have to make some where between $20to $50 an hour.
