The additional deployment would be coupled with about $1 billion in new economic aid, on top of the more than $30 billion already committed to Iraq, the White House sources said.

Along with pointing out how the FEMA report showing $2 billion missing was so quietly released over the holidays.

3. How bout this?
The Bush government just lets the Iraqi people keep their oil? Why should American tax payers dig into their pockets for more money to provide cover for the big steal? Why not make a huge sacrifice and let Iraq keep its oil? What a novel idea. Wonder what position the Democrats will take on the oil issue. That will be a major test of their integrity.
