Cheney's mouthpiece, name of Rush, has spelled it out--

Everyone who opposes the escalation-being-called-surge wants the U.S. to lose. Ted Kennedy in particular, at the moment.

"Lose" is not being defined, of course.

The views being expressed by the majority of the American people and by many of our representatives and military leaders are not being mentioned, of course.

1. holy crap, we need to be rounded up and put into camps
So anyone have any advice on countries that we can all flee to when this one takes a nose dive?
I like The Netherlands, but it gets too cold there and they have all those Mooslims. Rush has infected the Dominican.

4. They can't stand to admit defeat
We have to keep killing Iraqis just so we can say "we won." That's sad. Notice he has not the least self reflection on his need for the US to "win."

6. Worse yet, nobody yes yet to define what "winning" this war would consist of
Frankly I don't think that there is any way in hell that we walk away from this one with a victory. All that is left then is minimizing our losses, which this "surge" won't do.

The best thing to do is to pull out now, but sadly I don't think that's going to happen. Thus we're going to continue to lose and lose, until we've lost it all.

7. Let them have their escalated war. That way when it fails they have
nobody to blame. Very few people outside of DU seem to even care about what goes on in Iraq anyway.
