Regarding US Air-strikes on 'suspected' al-Qaeda camps in Somalia...
bush befuddles the present tense routinely; he will have consternated the future tense for generations to come; it is reported he has authorized this action for the bombings of our embassy there in 1998...1998!!!!

are there any other past, present, or future wrongs he would care to share with the world, or with Americans in particular, that he feels compelled to take on, or make right, on behalf of 'freedom'...and political expediency

wasn't the Islamic-led government run out by opposition forces just the other day? why no texas swagger when that time was at hand? picking up the pieces, the slim pickings now? far easier when someone else has made the big push?

wag the dog?

1. There do not appear to be any good guys in Somalia.
The Islamic government was probably the lessor of two evils when you compare them to the war lords. This was the same situation in Afghanistan.

5. The Islamic Court at least brought a kind of peace and security
Now the Ethiopian military has just brought death, destruction and insecurity.

6. I understand what you mean- at
least I believe I do- but that kind of thinking is what gave the Nazis the power to do what they did.
Dehumanizing clumps of people.

It's wrong. The last thing Somalia needed was our bombs.

This is NOT 'self-defense'.

This is terrorism sponsored by those who have hyjacked the not so Good old USa.
