So King George Wants To Read Our Mail, huh?

I myself have lots of mail George can read. Why, just yesterday I got three applications for a credit card, a "check" for $10,000 worth of credit at a car dealership, a book full of coupons and two magazine subscription offers all wrapped up in a bunch of crappy ads for stores that I never go to.

George is free to read all that mail of mine, if he likes.

Anyhow, it got me thinking...wouldn't it be a a great way to show them how me feel if we all took our junk mail for the next 2 weeks or so, put it in a giant envelope and thousands of us all sent our junk mail to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue?
Is anybody planning something like this already? I'd love to get in on (or even start o_O) a campaign like this!

1. If people are going to do this

a time period should be picked so that the blizzard of mail arrives at about the same time and not arrive in dribs and drabs.

I was thinking about sending Skinner a PM about resurrecting the activst corps to do this action. I think it should be massive to be useful.

3. We were talking about this at home.

We should do it. We should also get other activist groups involved in it, too. Maybe MoveOn and some others would like to participate.

We could pick a time period, maybe do this for a week or ten days. I pity the poor postal workers, though.

5. I Think It Is A Great Idea

I have seen several posts on it this last week. I agree it needs to done in mass to get the point across. Perhaps we can get some prograssive radio stations to get involved too. We should forward the idea to Kieth Olbermann too.
