3. What?
Edited on Sun Jan-07-07 11:15 PM by NYC
I see the Chrysler Building, but I don't recognize anything else in the picture.

Edit: Sorry, I was looking at the ad. If you are referring to the arrows, they all seem to be going in the wrong direction.

6. Initial look. Thumbs up and thumbs down for the arrows.
There on the spot with Rudy. Rudy is going nowhere when he can't even secure his own plan for office when he leaves it in the hotel.

9. Um, guys. Its not "thumbs up/down". Its a PERISCOPE. As in a Submarine's Periscope.
Up means "Looking at this issue", down means "not looking at this issue".

Or at least, that is how I see the Periscope metaphor.

10. Where does the page mention periscope *anything*?
Edited on Sun Jan-07-07 11:47 PM by Concerned GA Voter
If it's a periscope metaphor, what does <- -> mean?

Looks to me like they got their icons switched.

On edit: Oh, I do see that CW is a subsection of an area called Periscope. My apologies. I'm still not sure it makes sense, tho :P

13. that is just confusing. Pelosi does not deserve looking at?
So someone who is going down, who is bad, gets an up arrow, like "I am looking around" while someone doing something great gets a down arrow saying "I don't have to look around to see where I'm going"? Time for a set of letters to MSNBC though anyone reading the whole thing will probably just wonder wtf? Dang librul media.

14. No, read my post again.
"Down Periscope" means "the viewing of the event is over".
"Up Periscope" means "beginning to look at this, developing."

I think.

I *am* just guessing here.
