I just read this in the Cleveland Plain Dealer and it had me laughing.
I am thinking some people are a little sore at us....

:nopity:

Questioning Dems' extravagant soirees

The Democrats are holding a four-day orgy to cele brate the transition of power in Congress. I wonder how many $1,000 banquet tickets or $15,000 tickets to the main event will be found in the hands of the "common man," whom these wealthy career politicians claim they represent and stand up for. Will any token commoners be allowed in to ensure that the inaugural balls and festivities "look like America"?

Let me know where to pick up my "token common man" ticket. I'll drive in for the day, sans my limousine. I'll wear my best old suit.

If the media kept an accurate accounting, and reported the facts rather than being liberal Democratic cheerleaders, :spray: we'd be better aware of the lead the Democrats hold on the hypocrisy scale. How many homeless people could be fed or sheltered with the money going toward these over-the-top inaugural excesses?

Democrats, practice what you preach!

1. Mindless....
If Democrats don't have any money to assist in getting them elected in the future, they won't be able to look out for the little guy. People who can afford it get their money's worth at the soiree, those who can't get compassionate representation.

5. Oh there ya go
being all rational and stuff. The letter writer knows he is better served by poor republican senators and congressmen who wake up everyday wondering what can I do for the common man.

2. Hey buddy
There's still $20 million left over from the last Congress to pay for the Iraq victory celebration. Think one or two folks might get fed, clothed or housed with that?

What a dimwit.

Of course, on the other hand, he's all for Democrats practicing what they preach, because the GOP never has to worry that. When a political party preaches extravagance, hypocrisy, and murderous social policy, whatever they do to the detriment of the general public is indeed just putting their policies into action.

3. My, My are we sore losers or what??
Nancy's soire's are a drop in the bucket compared to reagan's insult to the American public funeral.

He does have a point though, you have to include ignorant trash, conservative, hateful morons to ensure the functions "look like America."

6. Was he equally outraged by the $40 million spent on Bush's inauguration parties in 2005?

12. Yeah the most money ever spent on an inauguration party.
This guy is hilarious. I wonder if he bitched about how many homeless people could be fed from the cost of the "Barney-Cam" Christmas video...

8. Okay, you ever notice how the Blame Dealer . . .
Prints NOTHING but the lowest common denominator wingnutso LTTEs? I mean, some of these fucking idjits I read make Kevin O'Brien look like a damned Rhodes Scholar. Reading this paper, you would think we're in that City Down South rather than Ohio's Bluest County.

9. In my opinion..
The Plain Dealer is a rag and I don't think anyone with half a brain takes them serious enough. I would never waste my time writing in there.
