George W. *bush is Charles Foster Kane
Given his fortune at a young age by his father, Citizen Kane ended up squandering it all in an attempt to make everybody love him. Kane had nothing left at the end except a gigantic decaying funhouse with room after room filled to the brim with precious items that he never bothered to uncrate. Charles Foster Kane ultimately died lonely and alone in the midst of all that, shuffling from room to room, looking for something he never really possessed to begin with.

May *bush suffer the same fate. May he find himself trapped in luxury in Paraguay, surrounded by fences and armed guards, unable to escape the consequences of the harm he did to the world in his attempt to get that world to look at him in awe. May he wander through the endless rooms of his lonely mansion, forever wondering how it all went so horribly wrong, unable to understand that it was his very own unremitting evil desires that trapped him in an ultimately inescapable prison of personal emptiness.

May George W. *bush finally die lonely and alone, cursed by all the things he did in the course of his life that ultimately forced him into his horrible seclusion.

May that be his just desserts for what he's done to our world.

2. Maybe being hated is his comfort zone.
Having botched up everything he has touched, I'd imagine he's grown to be quite comfortable being reviled.

5. Kane at least started off with good intentions.
Smirky isn't capable of any and he will never wonder what went wrong; it'll always be someone else fault.

6. "I think it would be fun to be President."
Yeah. Uh huh. That's right.

I can see your point.
