Can't wait to say, "UP OR DOWN VOTE!!!"
Up or down...up OR down....UP or down....up or DOWN!!!!!!!

And I'll say it to my Bush apologist Father. I heard it so many times from him the past few years. Like a shrieking sheeple, he must've said it to me a hundred times. "What are the liberals afraid of? Up or down vote.".

Okay, Pop.

UP OR DOWN!!!!!!

1. Now that the shoe is on the other foot you can bet your life
that the Republicans are against an up or down vote. Here's your chance to rub it in.

2. Perhaps you'll hear about minority party rights,
about the procedures in the senate, and how their obstruction is not only completely within the rules, but is their duty... Just remember, whatever you said in response to "up or down vote" before may come back to haunt you, especially if it was a good argument and if your father has a good memory.

4. LOL
yeah, up or down vote. Lets just ramrod everything through like they did.

My sister has taken to interrupting discussions that require decisions by yelling "up or down vote"--it's become our code for obnoxious and inappropriate badgering.

5. How 'bout some nonbinding resolutions?
Like:

We, the elected representatives of the people, hereby declare that the needless killing of our troops is wrong, and any continued bloodshed based on lies undermines the very pinnings of our republic.

Up or down!

6. That's what Dems should be saying right now
Everything that's coming to the floor will get an 'upperdown' vote. Just like the Repubs did. What's the problem with that? Don't they like democracy?
