Seriously. There's no benefit to society from them. They just take up resources better used by real people. They should be made illegal.

2. They are pissed because they won't be able to start another
war or piss more money away on more tax breaks for billionaires. It's the only things they know how to do, otherwise they might as well just stay home.

12. according to the Bush editorial, he is still planning to make the tax cuts
permanent in this year's budget. That's a deal breaker for me, but I am not sure if we can over-ride a veto on that or if some of the tax breaks will just expire if Democrats do nothing. Bush also called for a minimum wage increase to be tied to tax breaks for small businesses. We are going to have to work with Republicans, unfortunately, in order to over-ride potential vetoes. We can let him veto and see how the public reacts to grid-lock, but the RWNM is prepared to call anything Democrats pass as just 'partisan legislation' and thus blame Democrats for the vetoes.

Let him and the rest of the Repugs be the villans when the US government closes because no budget has been passed. Dems had damned well better stick to their guns on this issue, or there will be hell to pay come 2008.
