VIDEO - Olbermann: Special Comment on “Sacrifice”
VIDEO AT:
http://www.crooksandliars.com/2007/01/02/olbermann-special-comment-on-sacrifice/

Olbermann: If in your presence an individual tried to sacrifice an American serviceman or woman, would you intervene? Would you at least protest? What if he had already sacrificed 3,003 of them? What if he had already sacrificed 3,003 of them — and was then to announce his intention to sacrifice hundreds, maybe thousands, more?

7. Keith Olbermann, once again, lays it on the table for us.
Will he stand alone?

Yes, he has the platform to speak to millions, but he must be backed up by our voices. We must, in any peaceful way we can, spread his message. Please Du'ers email this clip to your address book. Thanks, Kpete. k/r

8. Excellent thanks for the post ~Tweety tried to talk @Keith's tie
Edited on Tue Jan-02-07 11:48 PM by goclark
today.

Did you see Keith's comeback?

It was a thing of beauty.

Tweety was fawning over the Service for President Ford and in the middle of his sentence Tweety had the nerve to ask Keith why he was wearing a PINK tie?

- Of course, Mr.Tweety the Patriot had on his Blue suit, bright RED tie -

Keith never skipped a beat and said, " I didn't get the Memo":sarcasm: ~

Tweety was stopped in his tracks!

Keith is brilliant with words.

15. Keith was so calm and dignified and Tweety was on his Meds

as usual.

He is always concerned with what other men are wearing.
Keith looked soooo handsome. :)

23. His ability to think on his feet may very well come from his sportscasting gig.
You have to be fast with the brain and the mouth to do that stuff.

I missed that moment but it goes to show he's master class.

19. blistering....
"It (the war) has gotten many of us, used to the idea — the virtual "white noise" — of conflict far away, of the deaths of young Americans, of vague "sacrifice" for some fluid cause, too complicated to be interpreted except in terms of the very important sounding, but ultimately meaningless phrase, "the war on terror."

"And the war's second accomplishment — your second accomplishment, sir - is to have taken money out of the pockets of every American, even out of the pockets of the dead soldiers on the battlefield, and their families, and to have given that money to the war profiteers." (snip)

22. So very powerful!
I wonder if KO has bodyguards? He speaks the truth to our nation more than anyone in our current times, which, imvho, puts him at great risk.

Thanks for posting this kpete!

24. KO's popularity has allowed those in the media who are questioning
the massive chaos in Iraq to feel more confident in speaking out.

Scarborough even subtly piggy-backs onto KO's lead in at the intro--the first time I heard Joey Scar criticize the the man in charge, I had to Tivo it to see if I heard what I thought I heard--and I had.

Thanks to KO, there is hope for the Fourth Estate in the US again. If KO wasn't wildly popular, the media would still be fawning over that shameless prick in charge--and George W. Bush, too.

EXCELLENT!
What a fine orator Keith is. His ability to put all the Bushit succinctly and in a linear fashion to a clear ending is fantastic.
Thank you kpete for this thread.
I hope fervently Keith keeps his job and stays off small aircraft.
