He's having a "conversation" with someone on Nixon and foreign policy. And we thought Nixon was crazy! Little did we know that Al tried to save the world from the necons long ago. He claims he ask Reagan if he "knew who these people were?" Told him that they were "neocons"--Democrats, specifically. To which Reagan replied that he had been a Democrat once too. Well after that anecdote, Al goes to explain that to the audience that neocons believed that they could make democrats by force.

This guy is all over the place. Talks out of both sides of his mouth. Trying to muss up * a bit while saying he's some sort of visionary on foreign policy.

3. I watched it
I've never been a fan of Al Haig, but in his defense, I believe what he meant when he said "Democrats" was the larger meaning, as in, members of Democratic Governments.

Quite frankly, I would take an Al Haig any day in place of any one of the morons in the current administration. At least he has a grip on the current reality, even if one does disagree with his assessment of history.
