Who do you think will win the Democratic nomination?

Everyone has their favorite, but cheerleading for your team aside, who do you think will actually win the Dem primaries?

You are not voting for who you would like to see as the Dem frontrunner in 2008, but who you think will get it.

(I know...I know...not all the choices have "decided," but for many who are they kidding? Assume all are running...)

1. I still think dark horse could come up from the rear,

hopefully someone who DIDN'T vote for the IWR.

I'd say Edwards. He has a very good chance of sweeping three out of the first four primary/caucuses. He's very strong in Iowa, Nevada and South Carolina. Obama or Clinton will probably win NH, but if Edwards takes the other three, he will be the one with momentum going into Super Tuesday.

11. I think everyone will have a problem with the Kucinich groundswell.

At this point, the nomination is pretty much Kucinich's, assuming they don't get copies of any photographs of him performing dangerous sex acts with drowned polar bears.

15. What I think and what I know and what I hope

I think it's far too early to tell with so many undeclared.
Assuming most or all get in, I hope it is not Hillary. She has been plotting the take over of the whitehouse for 30 years. She began putting her machine together a decade ago. She has how she will destroy the opposition down to the minute detail.
This is someone we must watch closely
Edwards is riding the wave of his announcement last week and the support of the dreamers. However, I see him as a nice guy with not much deepness. His whole beginning got off to a bad start and could be a sign of a shaky campaign. He could go the distance but, he will be hard pressed to impress realists and those who want more meat. He has the less experience of any candidate and this will hurt him. There are serious questions on his performance as a senator. If he can overcome this, he can nail it. But, he has to convince those who aren't dreamers.
Obama is my senator. I've seen him in action longer than most of you. He is impressive and has a wealth of knowledge. With his time in the state, he has double the experience of Edwards. While in the senate of both state and US he has done impressive work. Many who are old pros on both sides are very impressed and see him as a very gifted and rare politican. His time in Chicago politics has made him tougher than most think.
His problems lay in the fact that Hillary's machine see him as the #1 threat to her lust for power and so, they will go after him relentlessly. the Edwards supporters, which include alot of blogs, will try to destroy him. He is the guy with the bullseye on his back from both parties. The blogs can be unfair and nasty if they desire someone to win and so, I see them as going after him in a big way.
I hope for him to win but, between the Hillary machine, the Edwards bloggers, it may be too tough for him to fight off both.
As for the others, I really do not know at this time.

all the organized naysaying against edwards has me convinced that he has a real shot at this thing, because he's got the other side about as scared as hillary herself
