No, I do not want to see Saddam's execution on my tv!
I don't want to see anyone's execution on tv, Mr.Network anchor, so stop speculating on my tv about it! Remember when it was suggested that we televise executions? Heard some rumblings this week about Saddam's hanging being televised in Iraq. In two nanoseconds it would be on my tv if it were televised in Iraq.

1. I don't want to see it, either.
I also don't want to hear all of the brain-draining chatter about it. I have a solution. Turn the tv off. When you turn it back on, put in a good dvd or watch an old movie. Don't let your remote stray near networks, news channels, or "talk tv." Peace will reign, and you can read headlines about the news once or twice a day on your 'puter without a home invasion.

3. Nor do I. It's been so bad the past few days - even c-span has become
unbearable - that I've tried to catch Democracy Now, and otherwise I've been watching the jewelry channel. My spouse was getting really freaked until I explained that the jewelry channel is kinda like when I used to watch a certain TV preacher; it's pure entertainment for me.

4. Ditto
Nor did I want to see a US soldier killed by a sniper on CNN.

5. Neither do I.
But many parents object to having profanity and sexually explicit scenes shown on TV. The response to those is to simply change the channel or turn the TV off.
