Anderson Cooper has jumped the shark.
Did anyone see that ghoulish report he did on the mechanics of a hanging? Perky Anderson asking brightly turned questions about spinal compression and breathing. It had a very weird vibe to the whole thing.

Then he followed that venture with trying to insert himself into that ridiculous Rosie and Trump slugfest.

I'll be glad when KO is back after the holiday. I'm kinda sick of the Oddball programs. The Oddball segment is my least favorite portion of Countdown.

1. Americans have jumped the shark in general. sick, sick, sick.
For those who are proud of what we did in Iraq and Saddam and his family after setting him up as a dictator whom we supported in various ways including bio-weapons, and to now feel proud of what is happening to Iraqis under the Bush I, Clinton, and Bush II regimes, I feel sorry for your sick, sick, souls. I feel sorry for the rest of the world as more and more terrorism is unleashed throughout the world in the name of the war on terrorism and promoting democracy and freedom. What a sad, sad, mistake humankind has become for the Creator of the universe. But maybe we are not mistakes, just part of a universe controlled by forces we can't fathom?

11. Huh?
Earlybelle clearly described those attributes to those who have been proud of all our misadventures in Iraq, over the last 40 years. What was objectionable about that? What broad brush was being used? I think you misread that post.

4. Brian Lamb on WJ now is asking of the execution should be televised.
People are generally saying no to this. I get the feeling that Brian is help Murdoch with a little polling for Fox.

5. Welcome, earlybelle
I personally think that we as a species are undergoing an immense transformation at this time. To help it along, do what you can to have peace in your heart.

Hope you post often here at DU-I enjoyed reading your post.

8. the world is changing
and not for the better. Junior has unleashed perhaps mans' natural proclivities for war and terror, when it could very easily have been moved the other direction toward peace and humanitarian acts. It is a trend that must be reversed. Unfortunately that will require new leadership in this country and then a trickle down effect. I don't think I've seen it this bad in my lifetime and feel it is incumbent upon us to put things right somehow.

Welcome to DU!

9. He's a personality, not a journalist...
He's like Britney Spears or Jessica Simpson...

Only instead of all kinds of special effects to disguise their voices, AC has a world wide media conglomerate behind him....

12. I stopped listening to him after he embedded himself with the IDF
That was good enough for me. I used to like him too.
