Freepers: It's all Woodward's fault!
Edited on Thu Dec-28-06 08:16 AM by Fighting Irish
Ford Was Against Going to War in Iraq (Woodward Couldn't Wait To Spew)

The uncouth, attention driven Woodward could not even wait a week until after the funeral ceremonies to tell this "story".
****

And Casey's last word was "Rosebud".

The democrats using death for political opportunity again. Nobody should be surprised.

Woodward (CIA snitch) sure has come a long way since he was rifling through Henry Kissinger's briefcase for the Joint Chiefs over in the far East back in the early 70's.
At least his parents weren't members of the Communist Party like the little dweeb, Carl Bernstein.

Bob Woodward is to good journalism what the e.coli virus is to an all-you-can-eat buffet.

Next thing you know, Woodward will be claiming that the late James Brown once said to him in confidence that he "didn't really like black people".

7. That's what happens when you listen to oxycontin-addicted demagogues
all day, like Rush "Drug Addict/Anal Cyst/Draft Dodger" Limbaugh.

You get to thinking that he, Commander AWOL, and Dick "Five Deferments" Cheney are all military heros, and that you as a listener are in touch with reality.

Freeeeers - Bwa ha ha ha ha.

6. Especially when you consider...
Edited on Thu Dec-28-06 08:27 AM by badgerpup
...that this is the same crowd that was circling like vultures when Senator Johnson collapsed...

but there wasn't any speculation about whether his death would change the balance of the Senate, oh no...:sarcasm:

5. I wondered about the timing...
and figured that Woodward either asked Betty Ford OR Betty asked him to go ahead and publish it now.

I think many "old guard" republicans never liked GHW Bush, and they really don't like snotty junior.

For example, Nancy Reagan. I think she despises the Bush clan. And I wouldn't be surprised if Betty had no use for them.

9. Are they denying this....
...or is it just that they can't handle the truth. On Larry King, I think, they had actual tape of Ford saying he was against the war in Iraq.

Another noteworthy comment: When he attended the Republican convention that had Rush Limbaugh as a speaker, he said that the republican party was unrecognizable.

It will get Snow-jobbed and wrapped in a warm little cocoon, and then they can comfortably pretend once more that all is right with the world. La la laaa.

15. yet another "fact" they can't seem to understand
yet, they always get ruffled and confused when you try to point out things to them. If we attempt to shed a little bit of rational thought on them, they cry about us being "elite" - yet... that never made sense to me coming from the alleged "Meritocracy" crowd.
