What happens to Bush when the American people unite against him?
That's exactly what's happening. The more Bush does his FU in your face "I'm the decider and I decide" dictator crap, the more he alienates the American people. Bush thinks he doesn't need our support and he'll be A-OK if ALL Americans oppose him. I think he underestimates what can happen to him if the American people unite against him. I also think it's becoming more and more clear to Americans that this man truly does believe he's a dictator who can decide for everyone in America what should and shouldn't be done. He thinks it's OK to stop listening to us, and that our votes and our opinions don't matter.

So my question to you is - what do you think will happen to Bush at his day of reckoning when ALL Americans are against him? Will the military still follow orders? Will Congress be forced to impeach? Will his citizenship be revoked and he be forced into exile like so many other failed dictators?

All I know is that the trend and direction we're going in is very, very disturbing.

6. A revolt would be quick if ever triggered
Many in the military would go along with us. I have spoken to many who will not follow orders under martial law. I know if almost a dozen who have struggled with the decision to report for war duty or go to Canada. There are millions of us "loose threads" out here that are only waiting for the chance. I just don't think that the point will be reached when the masses will step away from their TV and fast food to do something to fight for their country. We are the most pacified, and drugged mass of lemmings in history.

16. The military would fragment.
Too many of them would refuse orders to shoot civilians.

17. The Orenburg Cossacks, the Preobrazensky, the Ismailovsky
and other elite guard regiments refused to fire on the demonstrators In St. Petersburg and attacked their own officers. And the mighty tsar fell within a day or so.

8. This is what I think will happen.
Bush has nothing to lose at this point. He wants a legacy. He's going to do whatever he needs to to get it. Bush already knows the American people are not behind him in Iraq. The poll numbers prove that support for the war is evaporating faster than the poll numbers can be updated.

What will happen is the greedy GOP bastards who have to run for re-election in 2008 will realize they must side with the voters on this issue if they are going to stand any chance at all of winning, and whatever little support Bush has left from within his own party will be gone.

The writing is on the wall for the Republicans: Americans want change. And they will still feel that way come 2008 if they don't get change.

This is why I think impeaching Bush will be easier than we think. Once some of the dirty deeds start hitting the headlines from the checks and balances the new Dem Congress will initiate, once Scooter Libby's trial gets underway, as the number of dead troops grows, people will become more and more angry.

Our elected "leaders" :eyes: should know at this point they will not stay in office if they don't do what the people want. And the people want out of Iraq.

12. This is why, initially,
I was sure. somehow, they had something to do with Tim Johnson's illness. There's alot of really bad crimes to be unearthed in the GOP. There's alot of time behind bars to paid. They're very afraid, therefore will stop at nothing to protect themselves. But I guess they're off the hook so far with Johnson.

10. He will resign
the Republicans will make him do this. Otherwise, as has been said more eloquently here, they will be toast come 2008.

Bush will very likely move to Paraguay, out of reach of the world's courts.
