6. Scarborough was all over the JCS thing last night.
He and Buchanan were pretty shrill over bu$h being "isolated" on his Iraq policy. Is this news "conference" just damage control about that? Will he simply stamp his little ape foot and remind us all again that he's the Deciderer?

29. If only Kerry said, "Poland? Yeah, well you forgot Osama!"
Bush would have lost HUGE, and Diebold would've been unable to save him.

Such a Kerry comeback would've gone down in history as the biggest smackdown ever.

11. about eating frogs and rabbit
Iraqi soldiers eat frogs, rabbit at handover ceremony

Iraqi soldiers bit the heads off frogs and ate the heart of a rabbit as signs of courage on Wednesday at a ceremony to transfer Najaf province, home to one of Shi'ite Islam's holiest shrines, from U.S. to Iraqi control.

A U.S. general called the transfer, under a plan to gradually hand over security and allow the withdrawal of 135,000 American troops, a major step forward in strengthening the Iraqi government as it seeks to rein in sectarian violence.

Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has said Iraqis can take over security of all Iraq's 18 provinces by June, despite doubts about capabilities and the sectarian loyalties of the army and police.

26. Ah, the old "I've Said It, So It Must Be So" reasoning...
"We're Winning! I just know it. I can feel it. We Are! Aren't We! We're Gonna Win, no matter how much it costs or how many troops must give their all. (I can't be expected to admit failure; it's God's will--I am His instrument, I cannot be wrong--I just know it! So if you question the war, you are not only a traitor for questioning my leadership, but you are a blasphemer against God's right hand (and deserve to be cut down and burn in Hell (you Democrat Infidels))).

Seriously, why do we listen to this immature, delusional, greedy, corrupt, deceitful/dishonest, self-serving little imbecile? Has he not disqualified himself by his very claim to greatness--not to mention the thousands of false, foolish, wrong, disasterous decisions and actions he's already committed? I know, I know... it's because he still holds the Office of The President.

It's worth noting: he's proof positive that just because someone happens to hold an awesome office or title or position (even unto "Leader of the Free World"--it doesn't mean they're even as good, qualified, intelligent, capable or deserving as you yourself are (even if you don't consider yourself exceptional in any way). So never again should you be intimidated or in awe of someone (if you ever have been) because of someone's position, unless they've shown they earned it and really are exceptional.

16. Who could have possibly predicted we wouldn't win in Iraq?
After all, it was for a good cause, the fight against terrorism.

Of course, you must forget the fact that there was little to no terrorism in Iraq prior to the invasion. This is a new result of the war.

There was no legitimate reason to go into Iraq. Never was, and never will be. And there was no plan to ever get out.

This is a stunning example of irresponsible leadership if ever there was one. And the reason why impeachment MUST BE ON THE TABLE. Got that, Pelosi and Conyers?
