Didn't they consult Time magazine?

(Glad to see Darfur's at #2, especially considering how underreported it is.)

17. "You". Slick ad campaign. How smarmy.
:puke: How utterly patronizing. We're supposed to say "Yes! I am big news! FINALLY, I get recognition for being ME! Yaayyy!":puke:

7. those are interesting results....
Notice how the infotainment trash ranks so low? Yet the cable networks seem to think that we loooooove this crap and push it as 'news' nonstop. I had MSNBC on this morning and they spent almost all of their airtime on the Miss USA 'story'....just disgusting. I guess this poll disproves their theory that we actually WANT this garbage shoved down our throats.

8. The disaster in Iraq.
All other big stories are a direct consequence of the worst foreign policy blunder in the history of our nation, a blunder whose consequences are yet to be fully realized.

Although you could convince me that catastrophic climate change and peak oil are equally as important, although under appreciated.

14. Notice they didn't have the balls
to just put "the conflict in Iraq" all by it's lonesome? Of course, that, along with general Repuke corruption, fueled the Dem takeover (lotsa waking up all over the red states, IMO).

But the disaster inflicted mainly on our troops by the most corrupt Misadministration ever, is basically ignored, except for Rummy.

I like that the "celeb misbehavior" is so low on the totem pole.......
