Wait 3 mos --You won't be able to find a Repub that even knows Bush!!!
Repubs will be running away from Bush so hard that they will have no recollection of enabling him in destroying Iraq, our military, our constitutional rights, etc.

Next up ..... Republican revisionist history! How Republicans are shocked at what Bush has done, and they are not responsible for any of it.

1. Just like after Nixon resigned...
Although he was elected in a landslide in 1972, by the end of 1974 you could hardly find anybody who would admit to having voted for him. By the end of Bush's term all we will hear is comments like, "Bush? I never liked that guy..."

2. You are probably right. There will still be some fundies
that believe God made him president who will always worship him. Thinking of all the speeches and book tours he will do in fundie country makes me want to puke. They are also the same ones that will blame the media & liberals for losing Iraq just like they did with Vietnam. That is how history will be revised.

3. I still see some Dumbya Dumbass car stickers around here
but it seems like fewer and fewer all the time. I have to supress the urge to roll down my window and ask them when they're going to be ashamed enough to remove them.

8. So do I. Alaska is extremely red.
Things are looking up, however. I was behind an SUV (small one) coming off of Ft. Wainwright tonight that had "I got the Blue State Blues" and "Bush Sucks" stickers on it. And a military decal in the front window.

4. I've noticed many Bush backers are changing their tune today....
... it is a continual evolutionary process that requires a certain amount of amnesia.

10. I think you're correct, because that's exactly what happened with Nixon.
We reached a point in this country in which you could NOT find a soul who was willing to admit that they voted for him. Even those you KNEW full-well had, indeed, done so, once and even twice, in 1968 AND '72, were denying it. Didn't know WHAT you were talking about. Nixon? EWW! Never liked him. Never trusted him. (Um... yeah, but you DID vote for him, didn't you?)

They never heard of the guy.

I think the same sort of thing will happen to bush, too. All of a sudden, it'll be a real headscratcher HOW he actually got "elected" either time, because nobody will be found who's willing to admit he/she voted for him. NOBODY.

... Bush's irrationality continues apace. Right after the midterms, I thought maybe he'd finally gotten a clue, but that was a fleeting thought it seems.

Once W started blathering "more troops", I think most folks just threw in the towel on him. The man has never had an original or interesting idea.

The Republican party has two choices, repudiate Bush with every fiber of their being, or fade into obscurity for at least 12-20 years.

What's it gonna be pukes?
