Or, if that's not what he's saying, then I don't get it.

1. wow. What universe does he live in where the Republicans do anything
across the aisle? The only time I thought they reached across the aisle was to slap someone and call them a terrorist.

2. And corporations are the ones turning the key in the Republican's back
They are the ones that have empowered these awful pricks.

3. Nice
That does put him even further right wing and crazy than I had originally pegged him.

4. B.C. hasn't made much sense for years now.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hart goes on drinking binges with Mallard Fillmore's creator just before they hit the drawing tables.
What's even stranger is that Hart still writes Wizard of Id and it's still pretty coherent compared to B.C.

6. I'm waiting for someone to complain about how Doonesbury is on the comics
page in the Akron Beacon Journal ... for some time in the 90s, it was in the editorial pages ...

So, if some asswipe points this out, I will "agree" with them ... as long as the ABJ puts B.C.'s religious strips in the Saturday "Religion" page, and "Prickly City" is relegated to the editorial pages as well ...

5. Johnny Hart is a tool.
Newspapers use him to make right wing editorial comments on the comic pages so they can still maintain their "liberal bias" misnomer.

Many of those same papers relegated Doonesbury to the Op-ed section, but keep BC on the comic pages.

10. The Idaho Statesman prints Doonesbury in the Op/Ed section...
but to be fair, they also print Mallard Fillmore there

That said the world was supposed to end a few years ago. I notice that he didn't give up his day job to prepare for it.

Here's a web-cartoon about B.C. I like.

9. I stopped trying to understand B.C.
several years ago. The guy's a mental case.

11. I'm still confused by the "Infamy" one for December 7th. My paper
puts Doonesbury on the editorial page, but runs B.C. as a regular comic.
