Bush: "I'm sleeping a lot better than people would assume." (w/ graphic)
“I've got so much on my mind, and this job is so exciting that it's really hard to settle down and plan the next 10 years of our life.”

People's interviewer also mentioned that readers had asked if he takes sleep aids. Bush said generally not, but he does occasionally when he travels.

“I must tell you, I'm sleeping a lot better than people would assume,” he said.

He said he drinks a couple of cups of coffee in the morning and drinks a lot of water and, of course, no alcohol.

“I don't drink alcohol. I can remember when I used to drink, I had trouble sleeping at night,” the President said.

2. Alcohol keeps him up at night
but causing the senseless slaughter of thousands and thousands, no effect whatsoever; sleeps like a baby. No wonder he is such a hero amongst conservatives in this country, or as I like to lovingly refer to them as ignorant trash.

People without consciences have no trouble sleeping, regardless of the evil they've done to others.

it's living with the living that driving me batsh!t. And besides, I'll be dead before history gets it right."

I honestly do not care how well shrub sleeps. It is really not about shrub. Really. When shrub has moved on to his undisclosed location after leaving office, I will not think about him or his family.

What will be keeping me up at night is fixing the monumental screw up he and his junta has left behind. May the gods forgive him. I won't!

Bush lied. people died. Media Cheered. ... and the people wept...

11. that cheney child will need a loving physical body to take care of her.
Edited on Fri Dec-15-06 06:10 PM by flordehinojos
why did bush choose to say,"loving soul", over "loving mother" ... i smell some psychological confabulation on the part of Bush...some sort of bunched up arteriovenous mud stopping him from saying, Mary Cheney is going to be a "LOVING MOTHER" to her child.

is he having trouble decipherating who will be mom and who will be dad in that dual mother dyad? was that the wrench preventing him from saying, "she will be a loving MOTHER to her child?"

the decipherator is not decipherating very well these days.

Too many people have been put in harm's way on his watch, and for naught.

25. I would think he is drinking but what do I know?
He is definitely medicated on something. So I would really have to say that sleeping isn't the same as passing out, no matter if it's booze or the fanciest prescription drugs around, it's still passing out.

32. No mention of his out-of-control Crack habit
Hey, nobody asked...perhaps a reporter needs to just ask him flat out:

"Mr. President, you have basically ignored the Iraq Study Group report. Is it because you hate anything labeled with the word "study" in it, or sir, are you on Crack?"

Someone needs to ask him.

35. Yes, yes, David Gregory, since he has been apologized to anyway by Snowman,
should ask the question. Can you imagine that press room if someone were to ask?? I'd wait until the last press conference but would definitely ask him if he was on crack much during his presidency (or whatever we're currently calling his time in our house.)

After all his executions in Texas and the hundreds of thousands who are dead in Iraq, sleep is probably a slam-dunk.
