I really don't understand the common bias against short men. They're just like other men, only shorter.

I'm five foot three and have been intimidated by tall men (who ENJOY intimidating people) since I was a kid.

I want my power, dammit!!!!

I saw a show on PBS the other night about dating and attractiveness, where a bunch of British scientists analysed speed dating, facial matching, and other things.

The main thing men looked for was large hip to waist ratio; IOW, a narrow waist and wide ass, which makes for easy childbearing.

The main thing women looked for in men was height.

Me, I like short ones, I don't want to look up to someone who can dominate me and loom over me.

So we're weird. I have narrow hips and a big waist and a small rear. I have to buy men's pants. And my sweetie is only five foot eight. We don't fit the median.

16. VERY short people have saved my life.

My boss is around 5 foot tall and probably 140 pounds tops. He hired me wheelchair and all and runs one of the "bluest" businesses I know about. He built a multi-state multi-billion business with his own wits and hard work and the support of a loving family - all of which have grown up to be shorties.

The physical therapist that took me from complete invalid to just short of completely independent after my car wreck is an Indian woman not much over 4 foot tall and weights probably 75 pounds.

You take your slams on short people and shove it.
