*'s Diminishing Ability to Manage Anxiety
Edited on Thu Dec-14-06 02:33 PM by npincus
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/blake-fleetwood/bushs-diminishing-abilit_b_35368.html

From Blake Fleetwood's blog on Huffington Post:

Bush lives in a cocoon, afraid of confrontations or even talking to anyone who might disagree with him. Bush is frightened of being humiliated and being compared to his father. When he holds Town Meetings, he has the audience screened and purged of anyone who may disagree with him.

With this fragile psychological background, Bush is likely to suffer a severe and accelerating deterioration when his grandiose plans to solve the problems of the Middle East (as opposed to those of his father) come crushingly, and humiliatingly, apart.

Bullies are basically frightened people; the more frightened they become the more they need to reassert their power. The danger is that Bush becomes more megalomaniac and grandiose and desperate.

In a bar or on a street corner, this would be upsetting, but when the person we are talking about is the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, with the power to invade counties, and kill hundreds of thousands of civilians...we should all be very afraid.

1. And you don't subdue bullies by negotiating with them
The Dems need to turn UP the heat, really high, really soon. I want him to collapse like a $5 card table right on TV if possible.

2. Same with limbaugh and the rest of the "conservatives" with microphones
They are cowardly bullies hiding behind their microphones who control their exposure to others as much as possible. limbaugh can't have a conversation with a person with a differing view point. He's arrogant and ignorant and sad and lonely. He has to buy friends and most likely has to buy sex. It really must be intensely pathetic to live the life of a "conservative" going through life believing stuff and making little effort to know stuff.

5. Not me. I hope it happens sooner rather than later
It probably won't happen at all the way the media slobbers all over him, but I would like him to serve as a warning to the next stupid, mean, cowardly incompetent who thinks he can run the country.

8. The only solution to being bullied
is to beat them like circus donkeys. As a teen I found out that being punched didn't hurt all that much, and the bully that did it found out that it hurt worse than HE thought when I was through with him :)

In the old days, that's how men "learned manners", if you mouthed off to someone, you got a swollen lip, so that taught you to not be RUDE :)

But now there are lots of wimpy drive by posters all over the web that wouldn't DARE say the same thing they've typed to someone's Face, and I find that sickening, and cowardly, like Bush.

Of course I'm not threatening the fake pResident of the United States of Merica, I would never do that, but if his daddy was to take him out behind the woodshed and beat his ass like he needed it a long time ago, I sure wouldn't stand in his way.

Would be kind of a quandry for the Secret Service if that happened too, "Gee, WHICH 'President' do we PROTECT from the other one?" :)
