John F. Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, John F. Kennedy Jr.

Amazing the luck Republicans have, isn't it?

Just AMAZING how many of our Democratic leaders have died at just the right moments for Republicans to seize more power?

1. I would seriously not be surprised...
... to find out that the Repugs poisioned him or something in order to retake the Senate.

3. No, but he had brain surgery last night and his position would
again shift the power back to Republicans.

11. Not for lack of trying, others have survived: George Wallace,
Larry Flynt, Ted Kennedy. Even then the damage accomplished the job.

6. Malcolm X was not a Democratic leader
I doubt he was a Democrat either.

Young Socialist: What is your opinion of the Democratic Party?

Malcolm X: The Democratic Party is responsible for the racism that exists in this country, along with the Republican Party. The leading racists in this country are Democrats. Goldwater isn’t the leading racist—he’s a racist but not the leading racist.2 The racists who have influence in Washington, D.C., are Democrats. If you check, whenever any kind of legislation is suggested to mitigate the injustices that Negroes suffer in this country, you will find that the people who line up against it are members of Lyndon B. Johnson’s party. The Dixiecrats are Democrats. The Dixiecrats are only a subdivision of the Democratic Party, and the same man over the Democrats is over the Dixiecrats

8. John Tower, Paul Coverdell, John Heinz
There - see? A few have died from their side, as well.

You make this sound like it's some kind of conspiracy. This was an AVM, and Sen. Johnson had it before he ever HEARD of the Democratic party.

10. what a strange list and a silly post
JFK was succeeded by LBJ, a Democrat. Matsui was succeeded by his wife, a Democrat. Mel Carnahan was succeeded by his wife, a Democrat.
Martin Luther King and Malcom X and JFK JR were not elected officials or candidates.

And believe it or not, repubs die in office or while campaigning too. Coverdell and Chaffee, just to name a couple.

Silly post.
