Why are some Rich so STINGY and MEAN??

My apartment complex used to file the mail in a back room and would allow anyone and everyone to go back to this room unsupervised and retrieve their mail... Because of this policy by my complex, I have had 4 packages stolen from me that were for my 11 year old daughter... The were confirmed delivered by the USPS and the Postman himself...

I blame them and I want them to take responsibility and reimburse me for the packages, and the amount is not that big, but the new owner told me to go away, he would not even discuss their role in this at all. I mean it's a small amount but it is driving me crazy the way he treated me like I was beneath him somehow.

So I went to work.. First off--complaint to the Postmaster Attorney General's office and then to the City police to get a case number and report mail theft. I also reported the mishandling of the mail as well, so I hope he has to install locked boxes for us all...Nobody but USPS employees are supposed to be handling the mail...

Mr. Allen P. Jacobson, you are rich, why won't you stand up and take responsibility for your mistake? That is all that I asked, and you had to treat me so badly....

I am like a dog with a bone and I am going to take a bite out of someone's ass....

3. It's bad enough having to work for them, it's worse when you have to

live in an apartment and have to put up with them on your time off. I suggest you do whatever it takes to get your own place or at least a PO box at the UPS store or something, that way you will never lose anymore mail at least. I once tried to suscribe to Playboy while I lived in an apartment & never was able to get a single issue before they were stolen by the boys that lived in the complex.

could be a pigeon, just as long as they win. And that schadenfraude doesn't give them much lasting pleasure, so they have to continually be beating someone out. I think many of them have a nasty mental disorder and are unable to find peace.

You could always get a post office box or a private mailbox with, like, Mailboxes, Etc., or someone like that (@ $100/yr).

Don't flame me, but there are a few that have philanthropy in their blood, and live to give! To say that all richies are mean is truly a stereotype. Unhappy people,especially prolonged, be they rich or poor, tend to turn out mean. Some richies become greatly disappointed when they realize that with all that money, they couldn't buy happiness.

However, in all seriousness dogday, even though I totally realize you didn't mean to, you should be careful about generalizations.

While I know some rich people who are disgustingly arrogant and thoughtless..... I also know some wealthy people who are progressives and would give the clothing off their backs to anyone in need.

They are truly saints. ;)

(kinda subjective) just put him in a position to be an asshole to YOU. I would warrant he's pretty much an asshole all the time - even to people who have more wealth than he does.

Actually, I think there is a specific trait of certain property owners that makes them defacto assholes. Even if they aren't worth much at all.

another thread that I was bashing all rich people, which I was not... Just this one in particular.. I am sure the rich are fabulous, I just know this guy does not belong in that category and that is my main point of my OP.....
