Mother of a dead soldier is removed in handcuffs for a t-shirt to protect the delicate feelings of Little Lord Pissypants

7. ...and at the same time cutting assistance to vets, failing to protect
troops with proper armor, running them ragged, lying to them, hiding our fallen soldiers from view and shipping their remains home on freight carriers.

2. YES. Thank you for putting it in perspective.
He had no idea he was dying for this kind of "freedom."

here in America.

9. To disagree with her, not silence her.
Just a distinction I thought we all should keep in mind when discussing the Right-Wing, BushCo, and Cindy Sheehan.

10. So, the new method of disagreeing with someone is to arrest them?
From what I have read, Cindy was arrested simply because she wore a shirt with the number of dead troops on it. Why are they trying to hide the deaths of the troops? Shouldn't George Bush be proud of them, if they died for a just cause? And why did the American people ever tolerate this in the first place? When Italian or Spanish, even British soldiers die in war, they are given a hero's welcome when their bodies are returned home.

I doubt her son thought he was dying for what happened to his mother tonight.

11. Last night I watched "the Alamo"
instead of SOTU, since I already knew what he was going to say (by all reports I was right) and because it makes me physically ill to watch him continue to lie, cheat, steal, etc. and then both deny it and try to justify it in the name of "freedom". I can't help but wonder what the defender of the Alamo and the countless others both named and unnamed (Casey Sheehan not least among them) who have died for our country would say if they could see what is going on in our nation today. I doubt they'd be pleased.

13. The most unlikely of traitors or villians
is a grieving mother. Since when has it been unpatriotic to ask why your son was sacrificed? Oh yeah, since 2000.

"Our soldiers are dying to protect our freedoms" says HitlerBush.
