Do you feel we are less safe now ?
You have to understand I do feel we have been fed alot of fear for the obvious reasons . Most all of it appears to amount to nothing but to keep the fear going .

I can't believe any of the 9/11 official story .

However not being one who buys into fear of a terrorist attack personally , I do at times feel we are more likely now to have something happen than we were before bush opened this 6 year long disaster .

I wonder what others think at this point in time . Some feel an attack is very unlikely , I don't know if I agree .

2. Not less safe, Not more safe
I don't think the Iraq war has changed my view on security, since it has little to do with terrorism. There hasn't been a major terrorist attack in the States since 9/11, but sometimes I wonder if one will "slip in" over the next year or two, just to make sure the American people continue to fear terrorism. And thereby continue to acqueisce to domestic policies and foreign actions which agree with a larger agenda.

4. I think 911 was an inside job
and have concern that those that remain inside will try to shock us one more time. I think that if they do the American people will be watching this time.

11. Sorry, but.
Assuming you are serious, to believe that the 9-11 attacks were not an attack by terrorists is mind-boggling. I mean, you don't have be republican or pro war to recognize reality. AQ and OBL SAID they did it! You really pigeonhole yourself into the "wacky" slot when you believe that sort of fantasy. Not that you are alone, but REALLY!!! Wake up and smell the coffee! We've got real problems to deal with!!!

6. Same...
I don't necessarily feel less safe. An attack is likely at some point in time, hopefully we can minimize the damage. To say an attack in "very unlikely" is naive in my opinion.

7. I don't live in constant fear of another attack, but I do feel we
are less safe now than we were before. I don't think that anything that Bush has done has made us any safer. In fact, I believe Bush and his administration have created more potential enemies to the U.S. by their policies than there ever were before and, therefore, I think it is quite likely that we will be attacked again.

9. more Americans are dying now. Of course we are less safe.
McVey came from the successful gulf war; what will this failure bring home to us?

10.  There are so many things to consider
I have thought of the mindset many of the troops will come home with . Also I do feel nothing has been done to secure this country at all .

I don't understand why it is only planes that are looked at as a means of an attack , this really escapes me . Do they actually think this is something to keep the 9/11 fear going ?

What about the food supply with all the illness lately , it's not terror attacks but another result of this adminstrations willing ignorence .

It is truely a difficult situation in this country now , everywhere you look you can find something new to be concerned about .

It has been said that another terrorist attack would make the bush admin seem like a failure , well we already know this and they could care less .

12. As H.L. Mencken said....
“The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.” H.L. Mencken

Sure, we're less "safe" from terrorist attacks than before Bush managed to multiply the number of potential terrorists.

We're also less "safe" from global warming, various disease outbreaks, earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, asteroids, drunk drivers, video games, and politicians out to "save" us from all the possible threats that life presents.

Which is not to say that we needn't do anything about the various threats. Unfortunately, "trusting" politicians to lead us to safety all too frequently results in making the situation worse. The so called "War on Terror" being but one example.

13. No. I don't feel we are more or less safe than before.
If they need another 9/11 they will do it. No sense in worrying about it.
