I Am SHOCKED! bush** Was TESTY Today With Brit Reporter!
Edited on Thu Dec-07-06 05:11 PM by leftchick
I heard this exchange on NPR. The Brit asked an excellent question about the ISG wording of Iraq being "Grave and Deteriorating" and the watered down version of the chimp's reality. OMG he is such an immature, sociopath! :puke:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061207/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush

<snip>

Bush was asked whether he thought the study group suggested that he did not appreciate the extent of the violence in Iraq.

"It's bad in Iraq. That help?" retorted Bush.

"You know, in all due respect, I've been saying it a lot," Bush continued. "I understand how tough it is and have been telling the American people how tough it is. And they know how tough it is."

..... He also said he "talks to the families who die" (WTF??) and they understand how hard it is.

O M G....:puke:

10. It was Nick Robinson
Edited on Thu Dec-07-06 05:19 PM by edwardlindy
here's his blog : http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/nickrobinson/

I guess Dimson is just used to the questions that the USA reporters "dare" to ask. Nick Robinson don't give a shit - no cause to do so especially when talking to a prick.

edit : missed out the link - doh !

outside 10 Downing Street. :)

Summed up things quite well in his blog :

"The detail of his response was fascinating. In his answer, he mentioned 9/11, the danger that Iraq would become a safe haven for terrorists (as Afghanistan was), the nuclear threat (presumably he meant Iran), and oil. So it seems that while the president is on the back foot at home on Iraq, he tried to raise all the things that would encourage the American people to support him."

For fascinating read :sarcasm:

19. If He Knows How Bad It Is, Why Has He Not Changed Course Before Now?
It is not enough to go around and say he knows how bad it is, and ask Generals do they need more troops.

As Commander in Chief, he has a well-defined duty to protect our men and women in uniform, and to make changes to meet the threats they are facing. Letting them languish until their vehicle is blown up by an IED is not carrying out that duty.
