January issue of "Vanity Fair" out today
http://www.vanityfair.com/

on the east and west coasts... a bit later elsewhere. It looks like a good one.

Among feature articles:

"Neo Culpa" - The war in Iraq is a fiasco—just ask the neoconservatives who pushed America into it. In exclusive interviews with Richard Perle (left), Kenneth Adelman, David Frum, and others, David Rose gets an earful of wouldas, couldas, and shouldas.

"Don't ask- Don't email" - The half-open closet in which Mark Foley spent his life was a recipe for disaster, say those few who tried to intervene. Vanity Fair exposes what Foley's party wanted hidden.

"Courage Katie!"- When Katie Couric made her CBS Evening News debut, viewers flocked—and then fled. Some helpful advice: Her Bubbliness should simmer down.

Cause it should be...and I agree.

Pert is NOT what I want in news delivery.

2. So we attacked Iraq to prove the Neocon wet dreams were just that
Dreams only. The bushes turned the country into a "free market" hell and wondered why the Iraqis didn't embrace Democracy. So now Iraq is in a free fall and the Neocons are using their 20/20 vision to look back. Too little, too late, too awful.

On the other two issues addressed by Vanity Fair, Gay men should not be repuke politicians, if they want normal lives. And Katie you are just too fake. First she was way too Bubbly and now she just looks scary. Really, have you seen her ads lately? They have her scowling at the camera from under her eyebrows. She does the same thing on 60 minutes and it looks fake. It looks as if she is trying too hard to be serious and she just comes off as spooky.
