2. Jail mo betta than impeachingness
Let the investigations run their course. He'll be like a butterfly with a pin through him for the next two years. As we know, you can impeach for a blow job. But what this punk did requires jail time.

3. My email to Obama's...
...communications director:

Had I been close enough to the dais (at the senator's Iraq policy speech on 11/20), and fortunate enough to be chosen to ask one of the questions, this would have been mine:

Senator Obama, Speaker-elect Pelosi is on record saying that "impeachment is off the table." Do you think this is an appropriate stance for a Constitutional officer to take, given that impeachment, if warranted, is not a matter of personal or political discretion, but is, in fact, a legal obligation of the Congress?

I only mention it because it's the kind of question I'm confident the senator will receive from enraged Dem (and Republican, I'm confident, once investigations reveal the extent of Bush administration mis- and malfeasance) voters who wish to see the rule of law made reality in America.
Best,
Ron

5. "Off the table" was not just craven and immoral, it was completely unnecessary
Edited on Tue Nov-28-06 01:50 PM by pat_k
And we must do everything in our power to engage others in the fight to not only to get it back on the table, but to get the leadership to accuse Bush and Cheney of their crime, declare their intent to impeach, and introduce the most powerful articles. http://journals.democraticunderground.com/Senator/10">The case for impeachment is complete. They can move on it right now. They must move on it, or betray their oath.

Duty or Complicity.

Impeachment IS Our Positive Agenda!!

6. They are OUR representatives. Impeachment is wherever we tell them to put it.

If we want impeachment, we will have it.

Edit: omitted letter
