so do you think not being prepared in advance to oppose Alito
is something like not being prepared for Katrina?

Didn't we know all along this was coming: a RWingnut that would tip the Supreme Court and do incalculable damage to America?

2. We were prepared and we did oppose. The "leadership" failure is
not the same either. BushCO failed to act in NO on purpose. They did not like the uppity black folks voting Democratic. While the people did everything they could to move the fossilized leaders in both cases they can not be equated.

Katrina was a calculated power play by the RWingNutz
aLIEto was consolidating Corporate power in the NWO

4. No they weren't. The hearings were a joke.
The repugs did nothing.

And the dems had no continuity.
They could have been so much more effective.

I can remember watching and there were many times that the
only 2 dems that were sitting thru the hearings were
Leahy, and KENNEDY! I remember watching Kennedy, and feeling so much pride.

That said, the embarrassment to Kennedy about the docs from CAP should never
have happened.

The dems need leadership, they need to learn to speak in one voice, and only then will they become effective.

think makes a fight? I say WE Democrats and I mean US not the Leadership sellouts to Corporate power in the DLC. I agree that the game was stacked against us and the "Leaders" might have done a much better job. But I stand by my statement that WE THE DEMOCRATIC VOTERS DID FIGHT.
