Help: Energy Independence At Local Level
Hey guys, as you may know, I was elected as the youngested public official in my county's history back in August. http://www.co.lawrence.tn.us/commissioners/District_2/district_2.htm I have now been in office about three months and loving every minute of it.

At the begining of the year, I am going to release a plan for progress for my county. It will touch on several issues. However, there is one issue I need help on: energy. At the local level, I am really unsure what I can puruse to help our energy crisis. I believe 100% that energy independence is the number one issue our nation currently faces, so anything that I can help implement at the local level would be a plus.

Does anyone have any ideas on measures I can pursue on the local level that works towards clean energy or energy independence?

Thanks!
