The republican party WOULD STILL be calling the jmokes letting them know how unhappy they are.

What do we do? We just sick back and slink away!

WE NEED TO CALL EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE SENATORS WHO VOTED NO FOR ALITO AND YES ON CLOTURE.

AND

EVERY SENATOR WHO VOTED NO ON CLOTURE TO LET THEM KNOW WE APPRECIATE IT.

Now is not the time to stop. Feel dejected? Let em know how you feel! Make them feel threatened! That is how you become powerful.

And if no one replies to this thread I will shut my mouth and not say another word about it. But I will remember how we chose to throw down our swords instead of weilding them.

3. How about we call them all and see if we can just stop the vote

I mean, the vote isn't done. Many senators said they would vote "NO" on Alito in the final vote - probably across the party line. Maybe we can get a few Chafees, Collins, Snowes etc to cross party line and vote the guy out!

Republicans already think all we're about is ABORTION, and the opposition to this confirmation vote was about more than Choice, it was about Freedom, the gutting of our Constitution, the shrinking of our rights, and the screwing of all of America all the way through another generation with the lifetime appointment of Alito by a President who has the approval (according to the polls) of about 35% of the people. It is an outrageous appointment and they helped the Republicans shove it through... against our wishes.

There has to be a better way of showing disproval. But, voting their sorry asses out of office is a good start!

13. Tell them they will be challenged in primaries

We will show that that the right wing base isn't the only base that expects results, we expect our elected officials and party so-called leaders to represent our platform and principles.

They must be informed that we will not take compromises any more and PLEASE TELL THEM that we will put up Democratic challengers in the Primaries and do our best to defeat and replace them with Progressives.

Likewise, those who represented us shoudl be told that we support them and only them, that their stance was appreciated and will be rewarded.


We should show that the Left Wing Base is not going to take it anymore!
