We have blundered another ill-advised war, and the outcome is that Syria & Iran will have better relations with a former arch enemy, Iraq. Their status has been elevated ,and ours is in the ditch.

We will never have 'easy access' to the oil
Israel is more vulnerable than before
Former allies now despise us
Our own military equipment is decimated
Iraq is damaged almost beyond repair
Hundreds of thousands have died needlessly
Our treasury has been looted


and for what?

So Syria & Iran can once again be "pals" with Iraq.

There's more. The Islamic extremists sought to bring down the icon of Western freedom. The Homeland Security Act, wire tapping without warrants, and legislation to remove the protection of habeus corpus and legalize the torture of human beings have served to decimate the concept of individual liberties upon which Western freedom is built. The terrorists have won. George W Bush and a bobbleheaded Republican Congress handed them that win.
