4. I quit watching all of these shows in 2004
because they made me angry. But so far today Tweety and Dobbs have been fun!

2. That is a perfect example ...
of how far they have gone to manipulate words and the truth. Starving refugees are suffering from "food insecurity"? Starvation and hunger has been minimized to a simple "insecurity"??

20. Just like when they changed french fries to Freedom Fries
They're just plain goofy. If you're hungry, you're suffering from hunger. Who in the world makes up this crap? IF they had a brain; they'd take it out and use it as a toy.:+ :+ :+ :silly: :silly: :silly: :dunce: :dunce: :dunce:

3. I like to play devil's advocate, but not this time
I like accuracy and without knowing anything else about this, "food insecurity" would seem to be a more accurate term for a lot of what we call hunger. There is a difference between being hungry right now and having an uncertain future.

5. The bigger part of this story
is that the problem is getting worse and Bush is in denial again and doesn't give a crap about addressing it.

7. you know what, I don't care who bashes me for this but...
While Lou Dobbs may run pretty far to the right in many of his broadcasts I just love the guy on certain days... I'll tell you this, DU might not admit it but he did PLENTY to get those crooks and liars out of power.

12. It amazes me just how stupid this administration is-----
I just shake my head in amazement that these dumbasses run our country. Honestly they couldnt find their way out of a paper bag with a flashlight and a map. Food insecurity WTF say it like it is, jobs were lost due to out sourcing and ppls standard of living has dropped unless your name is cheney whos stocks went up 369% in Hellburden (Halliburton). Maybe that scrooge would like to buy everyone in America along with our soldiers a holiday meal and not that garbage they have been feeding our troops and charging a high price.
All I can say is the ppl in this administration I wish their mothers would have swallowed sheesh what a bunch of dumbasses. Sorry for ranting but damn their piss me off.

21. Hey, let's just totally sanitize it: call it "survival confusion"
Perhaps "death dance" would be fun.

Howzabout "social darwinism"?

There's always "inferior cleansing".

Reactionaries are perfectly happy to live with the failure of others; it's proof of their lack of worth.

Nobody's who's anybody is hungry in this country, and that's the true problem: some animals are more equal than other animals.
