Iraqis say at least 30 killed in U.S. air raid
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2003431304_iraqdig15.html

BAGHDAD, Iraq — A U.S. airstrike Monday in the restive town of Ramadi killed at least 30 people, including women and children, witnesses said Tuesday.

Dr. Barakt Mansi said that many of the bodies arriving at the city's morgue were shattered and charred. Another doctor, who identified himself as Dr. Kamal, said that others died because of U.S. roadblocks and heavy fighting.

"It was difficult for us to reach the location because the Americans cordoned off the area," he said. "This increased the number of the dead — some of the injured could have been evacuated and kept alive."

U.S. military officials had no immediate comment on an airstrike but released a statement announcing that American troops in Ramadi killed 11 alleged insurgents in a series of attacks that appeared to be unrelated to any airstrike.

W thinking killing innocents is helpful to ending the war is....well, less than humane. But they are just brown Muslims, not real people, kind of sub-human, according to the likes of Coulter.

Unfortunate that another MFing rightwingnut used the same words to describe another group of people not long ago.

All rightwingnuts are the same; MFing rightwingnut assholes.

8. Yep, it hurts and angers
But there are so many who applaud the deaths of Muslims, those who promote nuking their population centers and carpet bombing the rest of their countries.

They say it's the Christian thing to do.

the world's leading rightwingnut MFer was Adolf Hitler.

11. That is why we can't let the Christian Fascists take power
Edited on Thu Nov-16-06 01:23 AM by Erika
We've done a good job of stopping them. If you want to see an example of Christian fascism, visit www.tvcnews.org

We've done a good job at stopping them but they are evil incarnate. Please
feel free to leave them a comment.

10. It's funny how the US touts bodycounts as a measure of success now
Edited on Thu Nov-16-06 01:18 AM by Selatius
It was used as a measure of progress in Viêtnam, but it meant nothing constructive in the end. Ho Chi Minh was rumored to have said that you could kill ten of his for every one of ours he killed, but in the end, he'd still win. He and millions had the willpower to outlast the US. Afterall, it was their land.

12. Yes, it was "their" land
We should have learned. We didn't.

It is so ironic that W is now in Vietnam. He wasn't there during the war but he's there now for corporate profits. 55,000 troops dead.
