Ohio U says nay to keeping Ney's name

In typical Ney style he sends an e-mail asking them to remove his name after he found out they had already voted to do so. Bob Ney was able to
to keep getting re-elected in a Democratic area by voteing for labor
issues when his vote didn't count. I remember him always putting on this show opposing NAFTA and the WTO but a few years ago when Bush wanted NAFTA expanded he waited to the last minute and saw his vote was going to be needed to get it passed so he voted for it with the Republicans.

And what assholes at the school thought it was a good idea to name it for the bum just because he helped bring home the pork? Whatever happened to naming buildings for people of remarkable achievements that greatly benefitted mankind?

The Ney Center was built in 1997 and is used as the school's basketball arena, workout facility and also houses several classrooms.

Ney also said in his email that he is very proud to have worked with the university to help them secure federal funds for the building.
