1. I hope that by the end of 2006
he will look back at 2005 with nostalgia, and call it "the good old days." Let's do everything we can to make that happen.

4. This year could not have been worse for Bush
short of his being impeached. Bush's problem is it's only downhill from here.

28. nah--FIRST they must completely rebuild the gulf states and iraq and
afghanistan, using all of their ill-gotten assets. oh, and then they can work on repairing the damage caused by the drilling they allowed, the logging, etc., etc.,

21. the Hague, eh?
It's doubtful once the American public gets a full understanding of what's been done that they'll ever think about using the Hague.

The Hague has nothing to do with US law. Our Constitution comes first. Unless it's been suspended and we didn't get the memo? Oh, wait. That's what's got * in the trouble he's in now...riiiiight.

34. I know that sounds bad to you but
two things:

1) As soon as they figure out what's coming down, Cheney will step down, "for health reasons and to spend more time with my family" so that a suitable replacement can be appointed by the figurehead, er, President because......

2) The last thing Cheney wants is to have to work in the open. He is a cockroach and therefore prefers to remain behind the scenes to effectively destroy our country without any oversight. He has no aspirations to be the actual President as he wields much more power as the shadow Vice President.

12. Junior needs to get his head out of the clouds...
...2006 is going to be worse than 2005.

This is the year that he'll be held accountable. Fitzgerald will
probably indict Rove and others. More scandals will surface and the
old ones will be bigger stories in 2006. Iraq will only worsen--and
his continued "stay the course" rhetoric will sound like the ramblings
of a madman.

We look forward to 2006. Slowly, America is waking up.

Junior can hope all he wants. The entire country turned against him
(except for that mutant 15 percent) ain't gonna be purty!

19. I'd say he'd be hard-pressed to have a worse one.
Unless he gets indicted, or something. But the Old Testament Rule of Law crowd seems to have gone soft all of a sudden, now that it's their boy who's taking liberties with it. The law, that is.

20. 2006 is going to be a
very tough year. There are a lot of things happening that are going to hit people pretty badly: there were lots of budget cuts. In many different programs, ranging from college loans to food stamps.

Thousands of interest-only mortgage loans are coming due in 2006. Lots more layoffs, lots more jobs outsourced. In short, the way things have been going these past few years; it's going to continue next year.

But next is going to be unusual because everything is going to hit simultaneously.

George better put away his party hat and his champagne. He's finished.

24. Dont forget the factories back east
General motors is laying off over 30,000.Utilies are outrageous, gas is high, the price of housing is astronomical.
And congress voted to cut medicaid in half while they just keep getting richer.Maybe we need to dump both parties and start over with people who werent born rich and know what it means to work for a living.
The price of most drugs have tripled so many people will not be able to afford them and this new drug plan benefits the big drug corporations

He is responsible for many deaths ,here and in Iraq.New Orleans was a total disaster that he could have helped save but no,he had to do creepy photo ops and then off he went.He cares nothing about human pain and suffering and his karma is going to smack him in the face this next year.Time to pay up you bastard and that goes for all your friends too.

26. If I Have Anything To Say About It, 2006 Will Be The Year Forever Scarred
into the Bush Family's feeble minds forever. A year to such that upon mention of 06 any Bush family member for eternity will shudder.

Yes. That is my hope, and will do whatever actions I can to achieve it :)

31. Hope away dude
It ain't happening. Your 2006, Shrubby, will make you yearn for the good old days of 2005. My resolution this year is the same as it was last year and it's shared by an awful lot of people - to spend every day of the year doing something to bring your evil administration to light and to make you as miserable as possible in the process. It's the least I can do, Chimpy.
