Don't Leave Without Voting, No Matter What! (problems being reported)
Just got this from the Pete Ashdown campaign - I am hearing reports of problems with the new electronic voting machines all over the state:

We have had early reports today of voting machine problems, and voters being turned away from their polling locations and told to come back. THIS IS WRONG! DO NOT LEAVE YOUR POLLING LOCATION WITHOUT VOTING! You are entitled by law to, at the very least, fill in a provisional ballot. If your polling place is experiencing "technical difficulties," ask for a paper ballot (that will be counted) or a provisional ballot. If you are turned away from your polling place, please contact us and your county clerk's office.
If you are unsure of your polling place, go to www.voterlink.utah.gov/Poll.htm
If you can, call voters today until 6PM.
And one more thing, believe we can make history. The polling lines may be long, but we won't be deterred. We'll mark our box, get our equivalent of the 'blue finger' for voters. In so doing, you are not only exercising your most valuable democratic right, but showing
respect for all those who are fighting and dying over there.

On Wednesday morning, we'll be waking to a new day in Utah, one with a new senator from Utah. Senator Pete Ashdown.

On behalf of Pete and his wife, Robin, a heartfelt thanks to you all. We'll see you at the party.

Sincerely,
Brett Garner
