Gary Locke, Christine Gregoire, Patty Murray, Maria Cantwell.

The call usually gets as far as "Hi, This is (state your name here)..." before I hang up or delete the message from the machine. I *really* hate these calls, and wish that they could find a way to ban them. I already voted - I don't need 4 to 6 calls a day telling me to vote.

If I hadn't already voted, the sheer volume of these calls might be enough to turn me off on voting, just to stick it to whoever thought this was a good idea. It must be a republic party plot to keep us from voting :silly:

and last pres election I phone banked....sorry...won't do it again...I didn't know whether to feel more sorry for the people I was calling or myself for the verbal abuse I took....some were voluntarily turning off their phones until after it was over, and I think it's shameful that they were driven to take that action...It gets to be too much, and I feel it turns people off...who wants to get calls from strangers day in and day out...I know when I am on the receiving end, I get sick of running to answer the phone...

33. I don't know if I've received any or not. For the last couple of

weeks I've been using caller ID to screen my calls. If a name or a familiar phone # doesn't show up, I just don't answer. I guess you'd call it voter fatigue. I don't feel I'm missing out on anything since I've already voted (straight Democrat) and nothing I might have heard would have changed my vote anyway.
