That has been giving everything, everyday, to keep each other informed and to help the Democrats oppose these radicals that took over our government six years ago. I cannot fathom where our country would be without you. I cannot imagine where the Democratic Party would be without you. You have been invaluable. We have not gone thru normal times these last few years.

It is my opinion that your efforts may have saved America. I hope so. If our efforts go unrewarded on Tuesday, I truly fear for the survival of America. However, we should put some faith in the common sense of Americans and try to remain guardedly optimistic. Personally, I cannot breathe freely until this election is over. Thanks again to everyone.

I don't think I will be able to bear two more years of one-party rule.

9. Second that emotion

I discoved DU in the summer of 04; read quite often but rarely post. It has been a sound source of news and a haven for those of us in "red" states. For the first time in a long time, I feel some hope...but (sorry to say) I felt this way Nov 04 when I just knew our American public would not make the Supreme Ct gift of the Bush Admin legitimate. I was devasted for weeks (yes, I truly believe that election was stolen too). So I hope with caution, and some lingering concern that much of the damage wrought over the past 6 years will take a long long time to correct.

I'll definitely be checking in this election night! Thanks to all for your inspiration and community.

12. I'm a longtime DU lurker too

Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm close to being an emotional wreck at this point. We've all been working so hard, for so long..marching, campaigning, writing, screaming at the tops of our lungs until the ugly truth about this illegal occupation of our beloved union is FINALLY being accepted as more than mere tinfoil hat hysteria. Regardless of the outcome on Tuesday, we've got heaps of work ahead, a huge mess to clean up, but the bastards haven't killed our hope, our spirit and our commitment to reclaiming the United States of America.
