New polling, according to CNN. Bill "AEI" Schneider seems to think that Americans would have been fooled by "lower gas prices." He forgets what they're lower than...nothing but Bush's HIGHER gas prices. Poll numbers indicate Americans care about virtually nothing but Iraq at this point, and their numbers on the economy have actually DROPPED 7 points since gas prices fell and Bush started talking up what a great job he's done. Nothing helps them...Iraq is the ONLY issue, as well it should be. And the GOP is totally cooked on that one, of course. This is too good. How did Boy Genius Rove misread the lowly peasants so badly?

I'm sure it won't matter to Karl though...he owns the voting machines and the counting.
