a Leader of the party bolstering the Republicans phony
"Kerry was attacking the troops" campaign.

She is smart enough to know what they are doing and should be
knocking it down and showing how they are using the "troops"
for their political ploy.

I am really disgusted. I have met Bill Clinton. He is a great guy.
I am sorry he has to be associated with this self-serving manipulation

As I said in response to that, I'm glad to hear it. But the sad part is that I had no trouble believing it because of the history with things like this. :-( So many Dems have tried ridiculously hard in the past to please the GOP and their base, even when the GOP was lying about them. I was wrong about Hillary on this issue and I apologize for that. However, Democrats in general are going to have to show a spine far more often before my gut reaction is to NOT believe things likes this. I hate it that I feel that way ... but they've rolled over too many times. They need to start standing together and smacking down the GOP smear machine EVERY TIME something like this happens.
