Uncle Sam (GOP theocrats) says no sex until you're 30
We are paying 50 million bucks to keep the government in the sex lives of its adults until they are thirty years old and married. This is an absolute outrage. Our tax $ going to enforce a religious interpretation of the right wing GOP theocrats.

So life begins at 30. Fair enough.
What bothers me is that the amount of breeding goes up around the time of a catastrophe.

And not just for pregnancies, there are emotional and emotional considerations too.

Worse, didn't a fundie tell Americans to breed more lately? (Falwell or Robertson or whoever...?)

But I don't disagree that public money is being used for a private agenda.

4. The 'amount of breeding'?
I really think people like sex all the time, don't know about the 'amount of breeding'.
I know during catastrophes pregnancies occur more; maybe they figure they'll enjoy what they can while they can, or don't have access to b.c.?

6. The guidelines also discourage condoms & contraceptives
So just have the woman stick the Bible in between her knees until she's 30 and all will be pleasing to the GOP theocrats.

These right wingers sicken me. If God had meant people to not have sex until they were 30, He would have put off puberty until the late 20's, unless the male/female could produce a marriage license. I don't think he goes for divorces either. Or is it OK for a divorcee to have sex? We need another 50 mil to clarify this part of God's will as being executed by the GOP theocracy.

10. Mom, if contraceptives have such a high failure rate,
why do I only have one brother/sister (or NONE)?" Maybe "god" is punishing us?

12. WTF? Tell me you're joking. "Fair enough?"
You're fine with the gov't attempting to dictate us not having sex until 30, which is insanely unrealistic.

Who cares whether people are having sex, regardless of when it occurs? As long as it's safer-sex then what's the big deal.

Except the gov't is trying to limit access to those contraceptives/condoms as well.

Ridiculous. And there's that pesky non-separation of church and state.

17. Wilhelm Reich wrote a book about that
"The Mass Psychology of Fascism"

It was one of the ones the FDA burned in 1956, IIRC.

Here's a synopsis by the Surveillance Camera Players:

Somebody needs to repeat freshman biology. And as a former biology teacher and someone who is well past 30, I should know!

7. That's because most Republicans never had sex until they were 30.
And they so turned off their partners that they are envious of the rest of us.

9. The women on both sides of my family tended to marry late
as a way to reduce the possibility of having a baby every year for 15 years and being worn out in their 20s.

It is utterly unnecessary to do that now since there are several methods of birth control available. There is no reason in the world for women to deny their sexuality to adhere to some patriarch's dead letter literalism concerning a book that was written by a bunch of ancient nomads slowly moving toward civilization.

We have to remind these sanctimonious bullies that the rest of us live here, too, and that it's high time for them to learn some manners.

Anyone who thinks a healthy 20-something is going to eschew sex because s/he hasn't found a marriage partner is a drooling moron.

Sounds to me like Jenna and Barbara should be their first students. Let bush worry about his own daughters before he thinks he's qualified to worry about what my kids do.
