"Rubber Stamp Republicans" -- why are we not driving this term into the ground?
For starters, it's catchy, concise, and easy to remember. Alliteration and rhythm are important in a political slogan.

It also holds Congress accountable for not standing up to an extremely unpopular president. No one wants a Congress that is there to back up *'s failed policies.

It's also 100% true.

Rubber Stamp Republicans are taking us in a direction that most Americans clearly do not want to go in. We have to make that known to voters, and don't let them forget it.

2. That term was used last night in the Florida gubernatorial debate.

The dark horse (Linn, a former rethug, now Independent) called Charlie Crist (the rethug) that once or twice.

4. Patricia Madrid (D-NM hopeful) is doing just that.
in her latest adverts showing Heather Wilson (R-COW) and Stupid saying "stay the course" one after the other on many occasions. The ad also makes the point that Halliburton Heather (R-COW) has been a rubber stamp for the Putz on every issue but stem cell research, where she finally did vote to override that shameful veto.

I didn't see that ad before I voted, but it made me even happier I voted for Madrid.

If anyone reading this board is still waffling (fat chance), I have to tell you I had dealings with Madrid's office when she was AG and I was extremely pleased by the effort they made on my behalf. I can't imagine any pubbie doing the same. I will be extremely pleased to have her represent me in DC.
