1. They were tapping everybody
I am sure they tapped Fitzgerald. Dude on CNN now (from the National Journal) is saying he suspects the operation was so broad, they simply listened to damned near everything, and pulled out what they needed. Essentially a massive data mining operation. If it breathed, BushCo listened in.

Feeling love for your government yet?

5. You know what I think is hilarious? I had an altercation
with old friends (Republicans)last night and they held their ground about annihilating Iraqi children and allowing Bush to wiretap anybody else, until I got to the part that the U.S. government had called my house 5 times already to recruit my son. I don't think they heard that last part. They heard the U.S. government part and started making their excuses to leave. I guess they agree with Bushie, up to the point where they're afraid to be investigated by the U.S. government just because they know us as friends.

3. I don't wonder at all!
Damned right they did! Atman is exactly right, they would do it because they can, if for no other reason. They love to act above the law.

4. I don't know what precautions Fitz or anyone could take
It seems like no place is safe for free speech. I'm sure the free speech zones are especially watched. Anyone who protests too hard is in danger while dubco is in power.

7. I wonder if that is why Fitz is taking so long. Maybe he found
out about this before the news broke. Just maybe, he is trying to figure out how to indict the whole administration.

9. Doubtful. And this information may be outside his investigation anyways.

12. If they tapped his communications it is not outside his investigation
That is for sure. What, Bush's minions going to try and spin it as looking for terrorists? That won't wash.

8. I woke up yesterday and that was my first thought!.....
I gotta stop all this politic watching. Or at least scale back!

But it occurred to me this whole Viveka Novak deal sounds too fishy. If the chimp would have known the progress or details of Fitzgerald's investigation, he could craft a "plausible" defense. This V Novak meeting "over drinks" is too convenient. Then the chimp hiring her husband for an FEC position makes it highly suspicious.

I'm hoping Fitz takes precautions, and then nails them for this bullshit.

10. If they did...
...whoever knows about it would be in grave danger.
