what is going on today?

has the religious right switched sides and become the religious left? maybe I'm watching too much TV today, maybe I should watch more news..good or bad? or maybe this is a good thing? I hope this isn't too weird for my fellow democrats, was it just me..or did you see a reporter claiming a good dictatorship is better than a bad democracy!?

I stepped outside, and I see countless ladybugs gathering on my screen porch for no reason?

sorry for this strange post, but today is weird! so what have you seen today, anything that is more weird?

1. my son came to me today
and said, you know what is nifty,... this is such a beautiful day. this whole weekend has been perfect.

he came to me yesterday and told me.... this weekend has been perfect

this is the boy that prior to 911 was so messed up, nightmares, clinging, afraid, and more, that i was going to take him to a psychiatrist... two days before 911 it all disappeared.... then 911 happened and was like... whatever he was feeling it was done and over with

this goes along with your lady bugs, wink

4. i have zillions of those "ladybugs" coming into my house every fall, late.
they gather in the corners at the ceiling of my two darkest rooms, and they're much more yellow than the red ladybugs i remember from my youth, and they give off a liquid that stings if you hold them... and they have a nauseating dusty smell if you vacuum them up or crush them.

7. I'm not sure who had the bright idea, but someone decided that
ladybugs are good for eating bad bugs and decided to increase the population of ladybugs by importing Asian lady bugs. Apparently they didn't check first to find out where these guys like to overwinter! It's just another proof of the adage that it's not nice to fool with Mother Nature!

I just feel in the pits - what with the rollercoaster of hopelessness and hope tied to the upcoming election. If that wasn't bad enough, we lost a family friend in a fire yesterday morning - more like an aquaintance, but it has just thrown me for a loop. She was 70, today she would have been 71, and she was not very mobile and couldn't get out. They found her in the master bathroom. Her husband is in serious condition in the burn center. Had bad dreams about work last night and didn't sleep after that.

UGH! Supposed to be phone banking tomorrow night for awhile. That'll either pick up my spirits and set me back on the right path, or push me farther into the pit :(

6. I had some very strange dreams last night..
at least I'm not alone, it's a little weird to hear some of these sermons about the internet today.

I'm sorry about the friend you lost yesterday. try and cheer up, and hang in there.
